South Asian Caregiver (Part-Time) - Silver Spring, MD

Amaray Care LLC is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experiencedSouth Asian female caregiverto provide in-home care for an 80-year-old female client inSilver Spring, MD.

The ideal candidate should have experience preparingauthentic South Asian home-cooked mealsfrom scratch and be committed to providing quality care in a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare homemade meals from scratch (including rice, lentil soup, curries, stir-fries, salads, and other South Asian dishes)
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Provide companionship and ensure the client’s safety and well-being
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment

Preferred Candidate Background:
Applicants from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply (in order of preference):

• Bangladesh
• India
• Sri Lanka
• Nepal
• Pakistan
• Afghanistan

Schedule (31 Hours per Week):

• Sunday:4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Monday – Friday:5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Experience cooking authentic South Asian meals from scratch isrequired
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet employment requirements
