Medcor is seeking a full-time EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer-based occupational health clinic in Hampton, Georgia.
This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to transition out of traditional EMS/911 or interested in moving into occupational health and a clinic-based environment.
You’ll continue using your clinical skills while providing hands-on patient care, managing workplace injuries and illnesses, supporting workers’ compensation cases, and helping employees safely return to workall within an employer-based clinic.
Schedule
This is a consistent, full-time day-shift schedule:
Sunday: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: Off

About the Role
As an Onsite Health Technician, you’ll provide direct patient care while supporting the daily operations of Medcor’s onsite occupational health clinic.
You’ll work collaboratively with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, client staff, local medical providers, and key client contacts to deliver high-quality occupational healthcare.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s evidence-based clinical protocols
Providing first aid and emergency response when needed
Supporting workers’ compensation case management
Facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs
Monitoring treatment plans and coordinating with outside medical providers
Participating in the daily operations of the onsite clinic
Providing exceptional service to employees and client leadership
Conducting pre-employment and post-offer screenings
Supporting onsite employee health and wellness initiatives
Documenting patient care using Medcor’s electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintaining accurate and timely medical charts
Building strong relationships with employees, client contacts, providers, and the Medcor team
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN license/certification required for the position
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong patient assessment and clinical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records
Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag
Strong customer-service skills and the ability to build relationships with employees and client contacts
Positive, professional, and dependable approach to patient care
It's a Plus If You Have
Previous occupational health or worksite clinic experience
Emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care experience
Workers’ compensation or case management experience
Experience working independently in a clinic or healthcare environment
Occupational health experience is a plus, but it is not required. If you have a strong clinical background and are interested in transitioning into occupational health, Medcor provides training and support to help you succeed.
