Fort Wayne Health Care Campus is seeking a dependable and caring Dining Services Assistant to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with others, takes pride in providing excellent service, and wants to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents

• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals

• Deliver meal trays and beverages as needed

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment

• Follow resident meal plans, dietary guidelines, and food-safety procedures

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents

• Assist the dietary team with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous food-service or healthcare experience is helpful but not required

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift necessary supplies

• Must follow all sanitation, safety, and infection-control requirements

• Availability to work scheduled weekends and holidays as needed
