Tenure Track Faculty Position (Assistant or Associate Professor) - Exercise Science

The Biology Department at Lycoming College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, startingAugust 2027.

This is a unique opportunity for an energetic educator and scholar to help shape a new academic major. Beyond teaching, the successful candidate will guide the acquisition oflaboratory teaching and researchequipment and assist in designing facilities for the newExercise Sciencemajor,established in 2026.

Teaching & Mentorship ResponsibilitiesincludeIntroduction toExercise Science,Exercise Physiology(300-level),departmental/general education offerings (e.g., courses for non-science majors, First-Year Seminars), and mentoring a diverse student population through coursework, undergraduate research, and capstone experiences.

Qualified candidateswill have aPh.D. in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science,Kinesiology, or a closely related field by the start date.Previous undergraduate teaching experience is strongly preferred.
