Shipping Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely shipment of products for our customers. This role will coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage logistics with carriers, prepare shipping documentation, and support inventory accuracyall while contributing to smooth supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments (domestic & international) based on production schedules and customer orders.
- Prepareshippingdocumentation(packinglists,billsoflading,exportdocuments,labels). Communicate with carriers to arrange pickups, resolve issues, and track shipments.
- Verifyorderaccuracyandupdateinventorysystemstoreflectshippedgoods.
- Ensurecompliancewithregulations(DOT,OSHA,export/importrequirements,hazardous materials).
- Troubleshootshippingdelays,errors,ordamagedgoods;coordinatereturnsorreplacements. Monitor and help optimize shipping costs.
- Provide shipment updates to internal teams and customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping methods, carriers, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and shipping software (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, freight portals).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
