High-Speed Food Packaging Machine Operator

Step into a full-time role with Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc., supporting a busy food manufacturing facility in Portage, IN. If you take pride in keeping high-speed equipment running smoothly and want reliable hours with weekly pay, you’ll feel right at home here.

You’ll arrive for your 2nd or 3rd shift ready to get production moving. You’ll set up and operate packaging and production equipment, keep an eye on performance, and make changeovers as product specs shift. Along the way, you’ll document output, complete quality checks, and keep your work area clean and inspection-ready. If something goes off track, your mechanical know-how helps you troubleshoot quickly and keep the line on pace.

• Operate and oversee food production and packaging machinery
• Handle basic setups, product changeovers, and on-the-spot troubleshooting
• Accurately complete daily production records and paperwork
• Perform routine cleaning and equipment inspections
• Uphold quality, safety, and performance targets

• Background in manufacturing or warehousing; food production experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving skills
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with a team
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset

• Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Shifts: 2nd & 3rd
