Position Summary:
TheProductionEngineerIIisresponsible forproviding outstanding solutionsand support in the manufacturing process of control valves. In this position, you will be the technical go to personfor the production and manufacturing teams, responsible for quickly solving issues and providing new ideas for better production methods.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing production team needs,providing guidance and problem resolution
- Preparationof test procedures and O&M manuals
- Review of technical documentationand proposed designs
- Work with other engineers to support regulatory audits
- Providing troubleshooting for product testing
- Answering post-sale technical support questions
- Collaborating withdivision managers to implement process upgrades
- Building first articles of new product designs
- Development of new processes to optimize production
- Other tasks as needed by the team
Capabilities:
- Require minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to think critically and independently find solutions when presented a problem
- Detailed and effective at accurately documenting specifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balancingevery day production needs with larger systemic upgrades
- Ability to workin a team
- Patient and capable of working under pressure
- Building intercompany relations to better serve the production and manufacturing teams
Skills:
- Education: bachelor’s degree (four-year college or technical school) orworkequivalentField ofstudy:engineering,engineeringtechnology, or relateddiscipline
- Experience: 6-10years inmanufacturing, application, designor relatedposition . Experiencewithairvalves orhydrauliccontrolvalves- advantage
- Computer Skills:proficiency withMicrosoftofficeproducts. Experiencewith3D CAD modeling–advantage
- Language: English. Additional languages–advantage
- Experiencewithtechnicaltroubleshooting – advantage
- Experience/educationwithhydraulicsor fluid systems- advantage
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, squat, and kneel for up to 8 hours or more
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Computer use for extended periods of time
• Ability tolift upto30lbs
