We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Laundry Truck Driver to transport clean and soiled linens between our laundry facility and hotel properties in Springfield and Worcester.
This position plays an important role in keeping our hotel operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable driving a large company vehicle, and able to safely load and unload linen carts and other supplies.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company laundry truck between designated hotel properties.
- Pick up soiled linens and deliver clean linens according to the established schedule.
- Load, unload, and properly secure linen carts, bins, and other supplies.
- Verify deliveries and maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation.
- Complete required vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Report mechanical concerns, vehicle damage, accidents, and safety issues immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck and cargo area.
- Follow assigned routes and complete deliveries safely and on time.
- Obey all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate delays or operational concerns promptly to the appropriate manager.
- Assist laundry and hotel team members with linen handling when needed.
- Maintain professional conduct when working at each property.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Previous experience driving a box truck, commercial vehicle, or other large vehicle is preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe-driving practices.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow routes, schedules, and written instructions.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and move linen carts and supplies throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or varied hours as operational needs require.
