Highlands Ranch Water is looking for a motivated Instrumentation Controls Technician to join our SCADA team and help operate the advanced systems that keep our water and wastewater operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks to include but not limited to calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and equipment used in the collection, transportation, storage and processing of water and wastewater. Introductory programming of computerized process control equipment such as PLC's and SCADA system devices. Maintain integrity of the SCADA system, in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Supervisors.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks under the direct supervision of the SCADA Supervisors.
Tools and Equipment UsedMonday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The work schedule will vary depending on weather conditions, projects, events, programs, meetings, and staffing levels, and will include some evening, early morning, weekend, and overtime hours. This position is a part of a 24-hour on-call rotation. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Work is performed in potentially hazardous environments (i.e. loud and/ or confined spaces, electrical, infectious and mechanical hazards).
