Warehouse Associate- Inventory & Warranty Coordination

Our field technicians cannot do their jobs without the right parts at the right time. The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in making that happen. This position is responsible for pulling orders, receiving shipments, tracking inventory in our software, and making sure warranty credits are processed and don't slip through the cracks. This is a fast moving, detail-driven support role. You'll work closely with technicians, office staff, and other warehouse associates. Specific Job Requirements

We expect every team member to take ownership of their responsibilities and bring consistent effort and attention to detail to the tasks below.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Order parts as needed
• Pull technician orders through inventory management software
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing tools, products, materials, and equipment
• Perform physical truck inventories and cycle counts to correct discrepancies
  
• Stock service and installation trucks with required materials
  
• Stock kits (PVC totes, PEX trays, and miscellaneous kits)

Quality & Receiving

• Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
• Process part warranties and ensure credit is received
  • submit claims to vendors
  • follow-up until credit is issued
• Report damage to tools or stock items to the Warehouse Manager promptly and honestly

Delivery & Support

• Provide assistance to other stockroom and warehouse team members
  
• Drive to job sites to deliver parts and equipment to technicians and installers when needed

Facility & Equipment Upkeep

• Keep warehouse clean and free of hazards at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the entire facility to ownership standards
• Help inspect physical conditions of warehouse, vehicle fleet, and equipment to identify maintenance, repair, or replacement needs
• Wash, dry, and fold tarps as needed

Other Job Requirements

Beyond the technical requirements, we look for individuals who demonstrate honesty and integrity in everything they do from how they handle company property to how they communicate with teammates and customers.

• Experience with inventory management software, ERP, or purchasing/receiving systems preferred
• Prior experience processing vendor returns, warranties, or RMAs is a plus
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (required for job site deliveries)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a driving and background check.
• Must be capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the ability to take initiative and perform duties without being told a strong work ethic is a must
• Must possess excellent communication skills with both office and field personnel
• Must be capable of working independently and responsibly
• Must have the ability to count accurately and proficiently
  

Working Conditions

This role involves moving and stocking materials, standing for long periods, and working in a warehouse environment, alongside significant computer and paperwork responsibilities.

• Typically a 40–45 hour work week; additional hours may be required during busy season
• 30-minute lunch break, scheduled based on operational needs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying and extreme temperatures

Educational Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent required

Compensation

Starting wage: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunity for increases
