Input Technology Solutions is seeking aCyber Security & Information Assurance Specialistfor an opportunity based out of Suffolk, VA!
Duties:
Serves as primary security compliance agent.
Performs vulnerability/risk assessments of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle to support the RMF authorization process.

Performs vulnerability/risk assessments of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle to support the RMF authorization process.
Tasks that will be performed for the client include:
Prepare and submit the Security Assessment Plan (SAP) for approval as well as execute the approved SAP
Review control implementation results to verify compliant and non-compliant elements
Analyze technical testing including ACAS scans and STIG checklists and verify traceability of all vulnerabilities from raw assessment results to the POA&M to ensure a full risk picture is available for systems and networks
Complete Security Assessment Report (SAR) elements including the executive summary for the Navy Security Controls Assessor (SCA) to make a residual risk determination
Evaluate mitigation and pre-disposing condition statements to ensure they address all aspects of vulnerabilities and equate to a reduced residual risk value
Minimum Experience:
At least five years' experience in performing Navy Information Assurance and cybersecurity functions to include at least one-year direct experience with RMF and its related components and instructions.
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Certifications or Training:
Acceptable certifications for this position are at least one (1) of the following:
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) – Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), Certified Information system Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance required (a current SSBI within the five-year scope).
