Customer Service: Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
Sales: Driving sales through effective communication and helping customers find what they need.
Cash Handling: Accurately processing payments (cash, credit, debit), balancing drawers, and ensuring accurate cash control.
Store Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation.
Other Duties: Sales Associates may be required to perform other tasks such as receiving deliveries, assisting with food preparation (in some foodservice positions), or completing shift worksheets.
Specific Tasks:
Operating the cash register and scanning items.
Bagging groceries.
Helping customers locate products.
Answering customer questions and resolving issues.
Preparing food items (in some foodservice positions).
