Job Title: Label Dispatch Operator - 3rd ShiftJob Description

As a Label Dispatch Operator for the 3rd shift, you will be responsible for printing customer-facing labels for regulated products and preparing lot-specific batch records. You will work individually and as part of a team, following established standard operating procedures to ensure that customers receive products meeting or exceeding quality specifications. This role requires effective communication and interface with work groups to complete daily production tasks, and adherence to ISO, GMP, and FDA standards.

Responsibilities
  • Print customer-facing labels for regulated products.
  • Prepare lot-specific batch records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Peer review batch record packets and labels for accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with work groups to ensure daily production is completed.
  • Work in a standard laboratory environment adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Complete company training requirements on time.
  • Operate within ISO, GMP, and FDA standards.
  • Maintain high attention to detail in alpha, numerical text, and symbols.
  • Collaborate with appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate performance of duties to prevent non-conforming products.
  • Start work on time daily and maintain strong attendance.
  • Receive general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.
Essential Skills
  • Labeling and labeling software proficiency.
  • Experience with batch records and laboratory SOPs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Edge).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • 0-2 years of related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a fast-paced science company is ideal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a life science company preferred.
  • Biology or chemistry background preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Bartender Software, Xerox, or similar printers is preferred.
Work Environment

The position operates in a clean room and office environment, primarily working at a computer to review batch records and create labels. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a GMP manufacturing environment. Adherence to PPE requirements is mandatory, which includes wearing a company-provided hairnet, beard net (if applicable), lab coat, and safety glasses. Closed shoes with no open heel, top, or toe areas must be worn, and no exposed skin other than the neck and face is allowed. As a member of the label dispatch team, you will primarily work with computers, documents, and printers, including Xerox and Sato label printers.

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
