Restoration & Remediation Project Manager
Location: Syosset, NY 11791
Hours: 40 hours a week / Must be available after-hours, weekend and holidays as needed.

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day field management of assigned restoration projects. The PM serves as the primary field contact for the client and coordinates the people, resources, documentation, and communication necessary to move each project from initial inspection through completion.
This is a field-based role requiring strong organization, communication, judgment, and accountability. Project Managers are expected to maintain ownership of their assigned projects whether or not they are physically onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned restoration projects from initial inspection through completion of field operations.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients during active production.
- Coordinate and oversee field crews, subcontractors, vendors, equipment, and other resources required for the project.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is being performed according to the established scope and company standards.
- Identify project needs, changes, delays, or concerns and communicate them promptly to the appropriate internal team member.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation using company systems and technology.
- Keep project status, scheduling, and field information current so other departments have visibility into the job.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, Project Directors, Estimating, Warehouse, Packout, and other departments as necessary.
- Maintain an accurate calendar and manage multiple active projects based on priority and operational needs.
- Follow company procedures for specialty services, including environmental testing, asbestos, mold, contents, and other restoration-related services.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries when communicating with clients, vendors, contractors, insurance professionals, and other parties.
- Escalate matters requiring management or Partner involvement in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in emergency and after-hours coverage as required.
- Follow all Project Management Field Operations Standards (FOS), company policies, safety requirements, and documentation standards.

Work Environment
This is primarily a field-based position requiring regular travel between project sites and company facilities. Because Total Restoration provides emergency services, flexibility outside traditional business hours may be required.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in project management. Restoration and construction experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Company Cam, Docusketch, Xcelerate is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and manage field teams effectively.
- Experience with insurance claims related to fire and flood restoration.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- IICRC certified a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
