Job Summary:
This is an exciting role in an innovative, high-growth defense technology company.The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experiencewithdeveloping automated testbenches and special test equipmentforhigh performanceproduction hardware. In this role, you will work closely with a talented engineering team to design, produce, and support test systems and test procedures to enable the fast and automated production/test of fieldable products.

Responsibilities:

• Design,build, andsupport sophisticated test systems to testhigh-volumeandhigh-performanceRF, digital, and power electronicsin a production environment

• Work closely withsystem anddesign engineers tocreatetest requirements and criteriato sell-off system/subsystem requirements

• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to triage yield issues of production hardware, provide guidance on hardware disposition/troubleshooting, anddevelop test systemmaintainability planssuch as calibration procedures

• Run campaigns to qualify hardware under various environmental conditions

• Support fast prototypingbydesigning and building engineeringtest setsfor investigation purposes

Basic Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,or any related field

• Minimum2years of experience in Test Engineeringor an advanced degree withoutexperience

• Previousexperience in aproductionor manufacturing environment

• Previousexperience with designingand troubleshootingautomated testbenchesforvarious typesof hardware

• Familiaritywithelectricaltest and measurementequipment such asmultimeters,oscilloscopes,functiongenerators,powersupplies

• Previousexperience with environmental acceptance and qualification test plans

• Strong documentation skills to track andanalyzeroot causeofnon-conforming hardware

• Strong test plan and requirements writing skills

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization

• Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

• Ability tocover the entire test system lifecycle independently

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future clearance may berequired)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Good understanding of RF, power, and digital engineering concepts

• Experience working with RF test and measurement equipment such as: VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, High-Speed Oscilloscopes, Power Meters,AutoCalModules, Power Amplifiers

• Comfortable with object-orientated programming such as C++, C, Python

• Experience with software development workflow usingGithub

• Experience with PCB design and using design tools such as Altium

• Experience with CAD design and using design tools such asSolidworks

• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping

• Experience with VISA/SCPI commands
