We are hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires someone comfortable working in a warm production environment who can operate equipment while performing visual quality inspections throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery
- Load materials and remove finished products from equipment
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed
- Perform visual inspections of finished products for defects, damage, discoloration, improper dimensions, or other quality issues
- Separate and document defective products
- Perform basic quality checks according to established specifications
- Keep machines supplied with materials to maintain production flow
- Complete production and quality paperwork accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Meet established production and quality goals
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience performing visual quality inspections in a production environment
- Comfortable working in a warm/non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good attention to detail and ability to recognize product defects
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
