• Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
• Support children’s social and emotional development.
• Foster a love of learning through Creative Curriculum and our Brain Connect programs.
• Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.
• Implement the SC state First Steps 4K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for 4K students.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning activities.

Support children’s social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.

Teach foundational skills in early literacy, math, science, and creative expression.

Encourage positive behavior, independence, communication, and cooperation.

Observe and document children’s progress and use observations to guide instruction.

Adapt activities to meet individual learning styles, developmental needs, and abilities.

Build positive relationships with children and their families through regular communication.

Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and support professionals to meet students’ needs.

Maintain a well-organized, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Follow school policies, safety procedures, and state early-childhood education requirements.

Prepare children with the academic and social skills needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.

A minimum Associates Degree required
