Job Title: Production AssociateJob Description

The Production Associate works in the production department that manufactures cleaning solutions for the HVAC industry. This role focuses on supporting the production line by handling bottles and finished products, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe processing from filling to palletizing.

Responsibilities
  • Place empty bottles on the production line to prepare them for filling.
  • Move bottles from the production line to the capping machine to ensure proper sealing.
  • Remove bottles once they are filled and capped, and transfer them to the next stage of the process.
  • Transfer filled bottles into boxes, ensuring products are packed neatly and securely.
  • Place packed boxes onto pallets in an organized and stable manner.
  • Shrink wrap finished pallets to secure products for storage and shipment.
  • Lift and move products and boxes weighing up to 60 pounds as part of the production and packing process.
  • Support general labor and production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet production goals.
  • Multitask across different production functions as part of cross-training efforts.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
  • Capability to multitask and handle multiple production tasks as part of cross-training.
  • Experience or comfort with general labor and general production work.
  • Ability to work on a production line, including packing and palletizing products.
  • Reliability in following instructions and maintaining consistent workflow.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a production worker or in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with packing, palletizing, and shrink wrapping processes is an advantage.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas of production.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packing and pallet organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a production team.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non–climate-controlled production facility that can be hot in the summer. The standard schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some anticipated overtime. Overtime is not mandatory, but candidates should be able to start as early as 7:30 a.m. The environment involves active, hands-on work around production equipment, pallets, and packaging materials, with frequent lifting and movement throughout the shift. Dress appropriately for a manufacturing setting and varying temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of The Colony, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
