Pay Rate: $ 15 -$28 Per Hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday,8:30 A.M. –4:00 P.M.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect marine propellers to identify damage, wear, or performance issues.
  • Diagnose propeller problems and determine appropriate repair or replacement methods.
  • Repair and recondition propellerscondition bygrinding, balancing, and finishing.
  • Perform propeller adjustments to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install and remove propellers on recreational and commercial vessels as needed.
  • Operate and maintain shop equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all work meets established quality, safety, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and completed work.
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations to supervisors or customers.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Prior experience in marine repair, propeller repair, or a related mechanical field (preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • 2 years of experience using shop toolssuch as grinders is required.
  • Knowledge of marine propulsion systems and propeller dynamics (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop specialized propeller repair skills.
