About This Role

Our preschool is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and developmentallyattuned Preschool Teacher who believes in creating a joyful, safe, and engaging environment for young children. If you love early learning, handson exploration, and building strong relationships with families, we’d love to meet you.

Position Overview

The Preschool Teacher supports children ages 2–3 through playbased learning, intentional instruction, and nurturing routines. This role blends creativity, structure, and responsive caregiving to promote socialemotional growth, early literacy, and independence.



What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and predictable classroom environment
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
  • Support children through daily routines including meals, toileting, and transitions
  • Model positive guidance and social-emotional coaching
  • Maintain licensing-compliant documentation, observations, and communication with families
  • Collaborate with teaching partners to ensure a safe, engaging learning space


Requirements

Experience working with preschool-age children in a licensed early childhood setting

  • Understanding of child development and positive guidance practices
  • Strong communication skills with families and colleagues
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Early childhood education units preferred.
