Instructional Assistant - Chester, Vermont

These roles offer the opportunity to collaborate with teachers and specialists, providing essential assistance to students at various grade levels. Immediate start is available, allowing you to begin your journey as soon as possible.

Open positions include:

• 1:1 support for a first-grade student
• 1:1 support for a seventh-grade student
• Small group support at the high school level

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working within school environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Ability to follow individualized education plans and directions from classroom teachers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Dependable, adaptable, and ready to work the full academic year

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with daily academic and classroom activities
• Provide individualized attention and support, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Help adapt lessons and activities to meet student needs
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive environment
• Maintain consistent communication with the classroom teacher and other educational staff
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback as needed
