Responsibilities
- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Label packages and prepare shipping documents in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the shipping area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and resolve any issues that arise.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the shipping department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
