Job Summary
Guaranteed Mechanical Service is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated HVAC professional with experience in HVAC installation, system maintenance, ductwork, furnaces, air conditioning units, and thermostat installation.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, ductwork, thermostats, and ventilation components, according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders
- Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other trades to support HVAC installation on new construction and renovation projects.
- Collaborate with clients to assess HVAC needs and recommend system upgrades, replacements, or improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal HVAC codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance services, and repairs for customer and company documentation.
- Provide professional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and communicating service recommendations clearly.
- Stay current on HVAC industry trends, new technologies, energy-efficient systems, and best practices.
- Work safely and efficiently on residential and commercial job sites.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
- Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid HVAC technician certification required.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in HVAC installation, HVAC service, or residential/commercial mechanical work.
- Experience with new construction, retrofit, or replacement HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting, maintenance, and system diagnostics.
- Additional technical certifications are a plus.
