We are actively hiring for the position of General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant)for our plant in Arlington, TX
Shift:
1st shift 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Monday-Friday
Pay: $14.00
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Sheeter Operator in inspecting the machine and checking items produced for proper quality specifications.
- Staging rolls and completed pallets.
- Helping ensure efficiencies, running speeds, and down time are within specified limits. Assisting in troubleshooting to enhance production.
- Driving of a clamp truck and forklift to load rolls and put up paper once sheeted. Learning all paper grades run on this machine.
- Assist in charting all daily production and any problems that may occur.
- Organizing process area to perform basic maintenance as required.
- Placing the recycled scrap in bins.
Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned
Qualification:
- Must be teamwork oriented.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to operate in a safe and productive manner.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
- Able to stand a minimum of 8 hours and work occasional overtime as requested.
- Ability to receive forklift certification.
