In this hands-on role, you will provide ground support for a variety of aircraft while delivering friendly, professional service to pilots, crew members, and passengers. Prior aviation experience is not requiredwe provide the training needed to perform the job safely and successfully.

Position Overview

The Line Service Technician represents Ascension FBO in a positive and professional manner while providing safe, efficient aviation ground services. Success in this position is based on following established safety procedures, providing dependable operational support, and creating an excellent customer experience.

General Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in new-hire and recurrent training.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a high level of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Treat customers, coworkers, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
What You’ll Do
  • Fuel, tow, wing walk, and provide general ground support for various types of aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
  • Marshal arriving and departing aircraft safely.
  • Greet pilots, crew members, and passengers in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and facilities and document findings.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and debris-free ramps, hangars, and facilities.
  • Communicate customer feedback and service needs to the appropriate Ascension FBO team members.
  • Perform lawn care, janitorial, and general facility-maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Immediately report safety incidents, equipment concerns, or potential hazards to management.
  • Initiate emergency and incident-response procedures when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to complete written documentation clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a commercial driver’s license or certifications required to operate material-handling equipment, if needed.
  • A dependable work history and commitment to reliable attendance.
Physical and Work Requirements
  • Ability to perform line-service duties outdoors in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
  • Sufficient vision and coordination to safely operate or direct fuel trucks, equipment, and hoses.
  • Ability to frequently walk, stretch, bend, sit, stoop, reach, grasp, and climb.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around aircraft, moving vehicles, fuel, noise, and other conditions commonly found in an aviation environment.
Schedule Requirements

This position will likely work an afternoon/evening shift from approximately1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must be flexible and available to work both morning and evening shifts based on operational needs.Weekend availability is required, and overtime may occasionally be necessary.
