Responsibilities

Ezee Fiber is seeking a dedicated and skilled OSP Field Operations Maintenance Tech who will be responsible for performing essential maintenance and repair tasks related to telecom infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on, physically demanding approach and involves working in various weather conditions. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability and functionality of our outside plant facilities. Qualifications

• Perform basic and intermediate repairs and maintenance on fiber optic cables, conduits, vaults, pedestals, and other facilities, both aerial and underground.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and mini excavators.
• Efficiently hand dig and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Utilize company vehicles, including trailers and bucket trucks, for field operations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to resolve issues with telecom infrastructure.
• Read and interpret technical prints and schematics.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in written reports, providing clear updates on work performed and issues encountered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including aerial lift and confined space work when required.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
