Responsibilities:
- Can demonstratetheability to setup, run, and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environment
- Good Inspection Skills and Blueprint reading skills,withtheability to use all shop inspection tools
- Basic Troubleshooting skills and must be able to recognize production problems such as out-of-tolerance Machining, poor finishes, damaged or worn cutters, and tooling
- Ability to dial in a hole or Edge-Find and set Machine Offsets
- Basic understanding of G & M code
- Versatility across multiple machine centers is a plus
- Meets job standard times with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- 1+ yearsof experienceoperating and setting up lathesis required
- 1+ yearsofexperienceworkingwith 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machinesisrequired
- 1+ years ofexperience with multi-turret lathesis preferred
- 1+ years ofexperience with live toolingis preferred
- Three years plus experience running a CNC mill orarecentMachinist Tech Training Certificateis preferred
- Proven ability to consistently run good parts that meet production standards
- Strong skills and aptitude in math
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- AHigh School Diploma/GED,or trade/technical certificationis preferred
- Prior experience working in manufacturingis preferred
- Prior experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipmentis preferred
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principlesis preferred
Salary Range:
- $42,000-62,400per year,depending onexperience.
