PM Cook

Close to Home Inc is seeking a dependable and caring PM Cook to join our assisted living team. This role focuses on serving meals to create a warm, enjoyable dining experience for our residents. Individual must be proficient in moving around the kitchen, apt in multi-tasking, and timely in the delivery of meals. Our residents greatly enjoy home cooked meals!

What You Will Do:

• Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at proper temperatures.
• Assist with meal setup, plating, and serving residents.
• Follow health and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties.
• Work as part of a team to provide excellent service to residents.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a cook.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Empathy, Compassion and caring for clients.
