Junior AP Accountant

Position:Jr. Accountant / AP Specialist

Location:New Rochelle, NY

Salary:$50K-$55K

Growing Non-Profit trade organization seeks new AP focused Jr. Accountant to join their team

Responsibilities:

·Responsible for scanning and entering AP receipts into the Bill.com system ensuring the correct coding. Responsible for the monthly upload and reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger.

·Works and manages vendor relationships, vendor statement analysis as needed.

Responsible for credit cards coding, receipt tracking, as needed working in conjunction with the accounting/finance manager.

Manages the Ramp platform to ensure that the coding is completed and uploaded in a timely manner.

Responsible for entry of bills, including review of coding and allocations into bill.com

Responsible for working out a schedule for processing payments on a weekly basis, in conjunction with cash flow.

Scans, deposits, and records checks in the accounting system.

Qualifications

·College degree or relevant work experience required.

·2+ years of experience of automated Accounts payable experience

·2+ years of experience supporting accounts payable functions (Billpay.com software experience a plus)

·Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

·Clean background check required
