YourMission:
Develop and implement quality systems/processes related to new programs and projects, design and implement operational metrics to support day-to-day product quality systems, resolving quality issues, development of measurement systems to meet customer requirements, and facilitating continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:

- Follow up of corrective action reports, including customer complaints.
- Calibration system maintenance.
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan creation.
- Inspection and Test.
- Review and submittal of objective quality evidence per customer requirements.
- Facilitate Continual Improvement efforts (e.g., six sigma as a green or black belt).
- Reports to Quality Manager and/or Quality Director regarding activities listed above.
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing product quality and reporting concerns as they arise. Accountable for the timely completion of tasks.
- All other related duties as assigned.
MissionReadiness:(EducationandExperience/skills/abilities):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4-year degree in related quality field desirable.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Quality Assurance functions, with adequate experience solving problems, process improvement, and using inspection and test equipment.
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Technician, or Engineer. 6 Sigma Green Belt or above is desired.
- Problem solving, lean 6 Sigma training, Project Management, inspection & test, metrology, and calibration, drawing reading & interpretation (GD&T), statistical methods.
- Good planning, organizational, and communications skills required.
- Above average computer skills.
- Organizational & motivational abilities.
- Works well with others.
- Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
TravelRequirements:
- Occasional travel between facilities as needed.
PhysicalRequirements:
- May berequiredto stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
- May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
