Job Description: Production Operator
Location: Austin, TX

Schedule: ON-SITE Sunday Night to Friday AM.
Contract Duration: W2 contract for 12 months with possibility to get converted.
Pay Rate: $19.80/hr

Responsible for production line and material-handling activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operates equipment, meets production standards, follows safety and cGMP requirements, and accurately completes batch records, logbooks, and other required documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and perform manual assembly/production tasks.
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality and compliance.
  • Complete batch records, SOPs, lot changes, line clearances, and cleaning activities.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products or process issues.
  • Meet established production and quality standards.
  • Perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshoot basic issues.
  • Work effectively with team members to resolve problems and improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Follow all cGMP, SOP, safety, and company requirements.
  • Assist with material handling and disposition, including occasional outdoor work.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate in English, and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to pass required GMP testing and obtain area certifications.
  • Previous production operations, electro-assembly, or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted.
  • Ability to stand and perform varying levels of physical activity throughout the shift.
  • Must wear required PPE, including hearing protection and safety shoes.
  • May occasionally work outdoors.
