Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Server to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.The ideal candidate is customer-focused, attentive, responsible, and able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.What You'll DoGreet guests warmly and provide professional, friendly servicePresent menus and explain menu items, ingredients, and daily specialsTake accurate food and beverage ordersEnter orders correctly into the POS systemAnswer guest questions about Ukrainian and European dishesMake recommendations based on guest preferencesCommunicate customer orders and special requests clearly to the kitchenMonitor tables throughout the meal and provide attentive serviceServe food and beverages promptly and professionallyCheck on guests to ensure satisfactionRespond to customer questions, concerns, and requestsResolve minor customer service issues professionally and involve management when necessaryProcess payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactionsMaintain accurate checks and follow restaurant payment proceduresKeep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and organizedClear and reset tables efficientlyFollow restaurant food safety and sanitation standardsWork closely with kitchen staff, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and managementAssist other team members when neededFollow opening and closing proceduresMaintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environmentWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview. Weekend and holiday availability is required.Pay & Compensation: $18-19/h + tips (Competitive hourly pay plus tips, based on experience and qualifications).Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible for competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years.Required QualificationsPrevious restaurant or customer service experience preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsFriendly, professional, and positive attitudeAbility to accurately take and enter customer ordersAbility to learn and explain menu itemsAbility to handle cash and credit card payments accuratelyAbility to work weekends and holidays
