Activities Assistant

Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking a caring and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults and creating engaging, meaningful experiences for residents.

• Assist with planning and facilitating resident activities and programs

• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities

• Provide hands-on support during group and individual activities

• Prepare activity areas and materials before programs

• Clean up and organize after activities

• Document resident participation and engagement

• Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and other members of the care team

• Previous experience working with seniors, patients, or in a healthcare setting preferred

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Dependable and organized

• Ability to engage residents and create a positive environment

$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
