Job Title: Account/Customer Liaison

Job Description

As a Customer/Account Liaison, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our organization and our valued customers. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring customer orders and shipments through our SAP system, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and monitor customer EDI releases for accuracy through the SAP system.
  • Enter manual orders received via hard copy or fax into the SAP system.
  • Handle customer shipment inquiries and communicate requirements throughout the organization.
  • Inform customers of production or shipment shortfalls as they occur.
  • Communicate with customers verbally and through electronic systems such as DDL.
  • Notify customers of shipments through Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) in the EDI system.
  • Maintain monthly reports including ASN Summary, Flash Projection, Firm Order Flash, and On Time Delivery Performance/Excess Freight.
  • Review the Daily Trend Report with the production specialist before issuing the monthly final report.
  • Balance reports with the ASN Report and Delivery and Return Report.
  • Track and record excess outbound freight for customer shipments, and submit it with the On Time Delivery Performance/Excess Freight Report monthly.
  • Participate in the APQP process as assigned by the logistics manager.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure the smooth and timely launch of programs.
  • Participate in production meetings and advise materials and production groups of any immediate changes to the shipping plan.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP.
  • Knowledge of logistics and order management.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills.

  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 10-50 pounds.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations. You will utilize technologies such as SAP ERP and electronic communication systems. The position may involve some physical demands, including lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
