Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with hands-on production experience overseeing and optimizing day-to-day warehouse and production operations. This role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, communicating with vendors and manufacturers, monitoring production goals, adjusting production schedules and leading teams in a fast-paced environment. The ideal Production Manager will have the ability to collaborate with various departments such as logistics, purchasing and sales as needed to resolve any production discrepancies and ensure compliance and safety standards are being upheld.

What you get to work on daily

·Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflows and timely completion of operational goals

·Lead, develop, and support production teams to promote productivity, accountability, and employee engagement

·Create and manage production schedules

·Monitor inventory, materials, staffing, and workflow to ensure operational needs are consistently met

·Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance overall efficiency

·Establish and maintain operational procedures and best practices.

·Review production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary

·Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations

·Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business and production objectives

·Help drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout warehouse operations

·Administer performance reviews, provide guidance and coaching as needed

The ideal Production Manager will preferably have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Other requirements for the Production Manager role include and are not limited to:

·5+ years experience managing warehouse operations

·Experience within the food industry is highly preferred

·Lean Certification a big PLUS

·Any experience with MS Dynamics is a plus

·Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

·Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
