QC Inspector (3rd Shift)

We are looking for a QC Inspector to support quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This person will be responsible for inspecting finished products, identifying defects, completing quality documentation, and making sure products meet established quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and visual inspections of manufactured products, including weighing products, checking label placement, and using hand tools to identify cracks or other defects
  • Perform and understand AQL calculations to determine whether product batches meet quality requirements
  • Complete quality documentation accurately and follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Correct documentation errors appropriately and complete Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) when issues are identified
  • Use independent judgment to make quality decisions on the production floor and determine when products do not meet requirements
  • Work across multiple production rooms and machines as needed to support different areas of the operation
  • Communicate quality concerns clearly with production and other team members
  • Follow company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a QC Inspector or in a similar quality inspection role
  • Strong understanding of AQL calculations and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects and quality issues
  • Comfortable making independent decisions and reporting non-conforming product when necessary
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to perform hands-on inspection work and stand/walk throughout the production area
  • Ability to lift cases weighing approximately 30-40 lbs as needed, with material carts available to assist with movement
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
