Field Technician / Operations Specialist

Full-Time | 50%+ Travel | Golf Technology

ezLocator, a growing golf technology company, is seeking a Field Technician / Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining travel, GPS technology, golf course mapping, technical support, customer training, and operations.

Golf industry experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

• Travel 50%+ to golf courses throughout the U.S., with potential international travel.
• Perform on-site GPS mapping and course scanning.
• Process and review mapping data for accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrate, set up, and support ezLocator and GEOEZ technology.
• Train customers and troubleshoot hardware, software, GPS, mobile-device, and connectivity issues.
• Work directly with Golf Course Superintendents, Directors of Golf, maintenance teams, and other club personnel.
• Maintain accurate project and customer records.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Development, and Customer Experience teams.
• Identify issues early and take ownership of assignments from preparation through completion.
• Assist with technical support and operational projects when not traveling.

What We're Looking For

• Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, including frequent air travel and multi-day trips.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software and hardware.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, customer-focused communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing schedules.
• Comfortable working outdoors on golf courses in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to independently manage travel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in golf, golf course operations, agronomy, turf management, golf technology, GPS/GIS, mapping, field service, technical support, or customer implementation is a plus.

Golf experience is preferred, but we are equally interested in candidates with strong technical skills, a great attitude, and the ability to learn quickly.
