Lead Infant Teacher

The Lead Infant Teacher plays a vital role in nurturing and educating young children aged 0-3 years, specifically infants and toddlers, within a safe and engaging classroom environment. This position involves guiding a small team of 1-2 teachers, implementing the Reggio Emilia curriculum framework, and fostering strong communication with parents through regular updates and meetings to support child development and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum based on the Reggio Emilia approach
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• Assess student development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents through updates and meetings
• Lead and support a team of 1-2 teachers in daily classroom operations
• Plan age-appropriate lessons for infants and toddlers
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Train and mentor staff to uphold educational standards and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in early childhood education
• Certification such as Child Development Associate
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Educational background in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
