Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Lead, coach, and develop audit staff to create high-performing engagement teams.
- Navigate complex audit, compliance, and financial reporting matters.
- Collaborate with Managers, Senior Managers, and Shareholders on strategic client initiatives and practice growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Public accounting audit experience required.
- Strong foundation in financial statement audits, audit planning, risk assessment, and U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with Not-for-Profit organizations, Affordable Housing, LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development, or other compliance-focused environments preferred.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
- Skills:Client relationship management, leadership, communication, project management, and sound professional judgment.
