A well-established, growing accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its friendly, collaborative team.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax and accounting experience, excellent QuickBooks Online (QBO) skills, and strong client communication abilities. CPA candidates are highly valued, although an exceptional tax and accounting professional may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual tax returns and provide tax planning for business owners.
- Review, adjust, and clean up client QuickBooks files.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries and year-end financials.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll taxes.
- Communicate directly with clients, the IRS, and state agencies.
- Manage client documentation and deadlines across multiple platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax preparation and accounting experience preferred.
- Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency.
- Experience with Lacerte Tax preferred.
- Familiarity with SurePrep SPbinder is a plus.
- Strong organizational, accounting, and client communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- CPA preferred.
