Learn CPR Brooklyn is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging CPR Instructor to join our team in Bedford-Stuyvesant (11206). We provide small-group emergency medical training and CPR certifications to adult learners, students, and community members.

This position is ideal for medical professionals and university students who want to earn extra income on a minimal, highly flexible schedule while sharing life-saving skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead small-group CPR, AED, and First Aid training classes (typically 10–15 adult learners per class).
  • Complete a short, paid 3-hour observation period sitting in on live classes to get comfortable with our operational flow.
  • Create a comfortable, encouraging environment for adult learners mastering emergency skills.
  • Maintain training equipment and ensure all course guidelines are followed during sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Medical / Healthcare Background: Active EMTs, paramedics, nursing/medical students, or clinical healthcare workers with familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Current CPR Certification: Must possess a valid, active CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or equivalent).
  • Sunday Availability: Ability to teach standard Sunday classes in Bed-Stuy (non-negotiable).
  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfort speaking in front of small groups (10–15 people) and instructing adult learners.
  • Reliable Commute: Ability to reliably commute to Brooklyn, NY 11206.
