We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Tugger Operator to join our team in North Charleston, SC, supporting Boeing's recycling and material handling operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that plays a key role in maintaining a clean, efficient, and environmentally responsible facility.

This role is primarily outdoors and exposed to all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Candidates must be comfortable with continuous walking, standing, lifting, and repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Schedule & Pay

• 1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Opportunity for permanent hire with increased pay and benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and sort recyclable materials throughout the facility.
• Operate a tugger to move materials between designated locations.
• Work on recycling and sorting lines, separating cardboard and other recyclable materials.
• Break down, stack, and prepare large cardboard boxes for baling.
• Bale cardboard, plastic trays, and plastic sheeting for recycling.
• Receive, process, and verify incoming and outgoing materials and orders.
• Pull and distribute materials to appropriate locations.
• Sort and stage materials according to distribution requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support warehouse operations and assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating a tugger, pallet jack, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, including lifting materials overhead.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
