About the Role:
Duarte Grocery Outlet is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Grocery Merchandiser to join our team in Duarte, CA! In this role, you'll play a key part in creating an inviting shopping experience by keeping our shelves stocked, organized, and looking their best. Responsibilities:
- Stock, rotate, and face shelves to ensure product freshness and a clean, organized appearance
- Receive and unload merchandise deliveries, verifying accuracy against invoices
- Build and maintain eye-catching product displays to drive sales and promote featured items
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock or out-of-stock items to management
- Ensure proper product placement and adherence to planograms and merchandising standards
- Check product expiration dates and remove or rotate items as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store floor and backroom area
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grocery, retail merchandising, or stocking preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining merchandising standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed
- Basic math skills and ability to read invoices or product labels
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skills
