Prep Cook / Kitchen Production & Assembly

We’re looking for a dependable, organized, hard-working team member to help with food prep, meal assembly and packaging, dishes, and kitchen cleanup.

What You’ll Do

Food Prep

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare produce
• Measure and portion ingredients
• Assist chefs with sauces, dressings, marinades, grains, vegetables, and other recipe components
• Follow recipes and prep instructions accurately
• Label, date, and properly store prepared food
• Keep prep areas clean and organized

Assembly & Fulfillment

• Portion prepared food according to our standards
• Package meals, sides, salads, sauces, breakfasts, and desserts
• Label containers accurately
• Assemble customer orders and double-check them for accuracy
• Help organize orders for delivery

Dishwashing & Kitchen Support

• Wash dishes, sheet pans, hotel pans, utensils, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish area clean and organized
• Sanitize work surfaces and equipment
• Take out trash and help with general kitchen cleanup
• Help reset the kitchen at the end of production

Schedule

Our primary production days are Monday–Wednesday during daytime hours.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity for additional hours as Pass the Plate grows. Additional delivery hours may also be available for interested team members.

Pay

$18–$20/hour depending on experience and responsibilities.

Candidates with strong professional kitchen, prep cook, food production, or high-volume kitchen experience may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
