Terminal Support Coordinator

The Terminal Support Coordinator will primarily involve reviewing customer requests for Trident services, identifying chemical products last carried in tanks, communicating with Dispatch, Sprint Logistics, Billing, and Safety/Environmental personnel as well as locating and maintaining documentation.

This person will be energetic, organized, and detail-oriented who is familiar with basic sciences (especially chemistry). This position will report to the Tank Wash Manager with a dotted line connection to the Environmental Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate client scheduling requests for tank washing ensuring that Trident can complete the work in compliance with company requirements
• Investigate and research any products that are not adequately identified in customer requests to determine proper safety, handling, and environmental protocols for the tank wash team
• Prepare, process, and bill completed invoices, attaching appropriate backup documentation, consistent with customer requirements and respond to customer requests for invoice discrepancies
• Collect paperwork from drivers, log completed washes into Depot software and manage environmental data entry within the Mapistry system.
• Assist management with researching and responding to customer issues
• Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams for various company project initiatives, which could result in traveling within Texas and Southern Louisiana
• Maintain accurate, orderly and up to date filing systems for all records
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree or college coursework in science preferred
• Relevant tank wash and/or hazardous material transportation experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and detail oriented
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office programs; familiarity with industry-specific software (Depot, Mapistry, or TMW) is a strong plus
