About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation products, engineering solutions, and technical services, supporting customers across manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, energy, and other industrial sectors.
They are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for someone with inside sales, customer service, or account support experience who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support outside sales representatives within an assigned territory
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and order status
- Prepare, manage, and follow up on customer quotes
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow up on inbound leads and identify new business opportunities
- Qualify sales opportunities and collaborate with outside sales teams
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records in Salesforce CRM
- Partner with customer service, purchasing, warehouse, and fulfillment teams
- Contribute to sales goals and overall business growth
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or sales support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or related industries
- Experience with P21 (Prophet 21) software
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23/hr
