Jr. 76ers Camps is the longest running and largest summer camp program in the NBA. Join our team to help inspire young athletes, work with an outstanding team of youth coaches, and develop professional skills to advance your career.
The Jr. 76ers Beyond the Bell program gives children the chance to experience the thrill of Jr. 76ers Basketball as part of their after-school enrichment program. Jr. 76ers Beyond the Bell will be held at eight Philadelphia locations from January through May.
The Coach will oversee all aspects of the basketball curriculum and instruction for the Jr. 76ers Beyond the Bell location. The Coach will collaborate effectively with Jr. 76ers Camps team members to ensure safety, foster a positive environment, and demonstrate ESF Core Values.
Jr. 76ers Beyond the Bell Coaches will be assigned to one of the program locations for the course of each 8-week program.

- St. Veronica Catholic School (3521 N 6th St, Philadelphia, PA 19140)
- St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School (405 N 65th St, Philadelphia, PA 19151)
- St. Rose of Lima Catholic School (1522 N Wanamaker St, Philadelphia, PA 19131)
- St. Martin of Tours School (5701 Loretto Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124)
- St. Raymond of Penafort (7940 Williams Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150)
- St. Malachy (1012 W Thompson St, Philadelphia, PA 19122)
Program Dates:
- Fall: September 21 through November 20
- Winter: January 25 through March 19
- Spring: April 5 through May 28
Staff Hours: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience coaching youth basketball. Experience managing coaches, working with children of different ages and abilities, and communicating with parents.
- Age Requirements: Team members must be 18 years old by the start of camp.
- Schedule Commitment: Any schedule changes or time off must be pre-approved by the General Manager of Jr. 76ers Camps.
- Required Training: Complete all required ESF, Jr. 76ers Camps and state-mandated training and onboarding.
- Dress Code: Maintain the "Jr. 76ers Camps Look" (camp uniform).
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Basketball Instruction: Promote and participate in daily activities and projects with enthusiasm, collaborating effectively with Jr. 76ers team members.
- Safety & Positive Group Management: Ensure the safety and well-being of campers with emphasis on positive behavior and effective group management. Promptly report any concerns to the Site Director.
- Be the Ultimate Role Model: Supervise campers, while fostering a positive, welcoming, and safe environment.
- Demonstrate ESF Core Values & Code daily, from “Gratitude” to “Bring It” daily.
- Model the ESF Virtues of Character (Gratitude, Respect, Trustworthiness, Effort, Kindness, Positivity, Resilience, Community) in camp daily.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Communication: Maintain clear, concise, and engaging communication with campers, families, peers, and our leadership team.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports directly to and takes direction from the General Manager of Jr. 76ers Camps.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Push/pull, lift, and carry a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds across campus. Work outside, upright, and mobile for four (4) hours per day
- Respond to emergencies, including running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and ascending stairs without undue exertion.
