Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading skilled technical maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Experience managing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Knowledge of ASTM amusement ride standards and industry best practices.
• Certifications related to maintenance, engineering, reliability, project management, or safety (CMRP, PMP, Six Sigma, etc.).
• OSHA outreach trainer credentials or advanced safety certifications.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and administering collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Ride Maintenance Manager for a large amusement park, water park, and campground/resort complex in Kansas City, MO.
This individual will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of all rides and attractions across the park. The Ride Maintenance Manager will oversee both Ride Mechanical and Ride Electrical teams, supporting more than 30 maintenance employees while ensuring all ride systems are maintained according to manufacturer requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
A major focus of this role is leadership. The team currently includes many newer employees requiring mentorship, technical development, and training. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader who can develop maintenance talent, reinforce safety standards, improve maintenance consistency, and build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop Ride Mechanical and Ride Electrical maintenance teams.
• Recruit, train, mentor, coach, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Oversee preventative, predictive, corrective, and seasonal maintenance programs for rides and attractions.
• Direct troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Analyze ride downtime trends and implement reliability improvements.
• Ensure maintenance records, inspections, and work orders are accurately maintained.
• Drive compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance standards.
• Support regulatory inspections, third-party audits, and manufacturer reviews.
• Investigate equipment failures and ride-related incidents while implementing corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations to maximize ride availability and operational readiness.
• Manage departmental budgets, maintenance expenditures, contractors, and vendor relationships.
• Support capital planning, ride rehabilitation, equipment replacement, and attraction improvement initiatives.
