JOB TITLE: ARCHITECTURE - PROJECT MANAGER
REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT

The Architecture-Project Manager provides project leadership and documentation coordination. Position requires leading project teams as they develop design drawings, technical documentation and construction administration/construction phase documents for architecture + construction project delivery method.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Leads production of schematic design, design development and construction documents for architecture + construction project delivery method in accordance with Barrett Made standards and project requirements
Prepares and reviews documents for quality control evaluations
Supervises project team(s) as required
Coordinates and maintains project schedule with design and construction team Meets with clients
Coordinates with Construction Project Manager pursuant to project and project requirements
Coordinates with consultants
Coordinates with suppliers and vendors
Oversees construction phases of projects in conjunction with construction Project Manager including, but not limited to, processing submittals, producing field reports, producing construction sketches
Actively seeks new design and construction methods
Ensures close-out documentation and project archives are completed
Responsible of design budget management and profitability
Manages project teams and development of junior staff members
CORE COMPETENCIES
Ability to work with and manage multiple projects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
Thorough knowledge of contract language
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all parties involved in projects, while being composed to handle a variety of challenges and/or personalities and a positive and professional manner
Self-awareness to ask questions in areas you may be less knowledgeable
Working knowledge of project scheduling
Working knowledge of cost and labor projections
Strong computer skills – email, Word, Excel, Procore construction software
Knowledge of required project sequencing
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills

QUALIFICATIONS
Architectural degree required
6+ years experience
Licensed architect, preferred, or demonstrated path to licensure
Proficient in office/industry standard software including, but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite, Procore Construction Software
Communicates effectively with clients and project team members and staff
Displays strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate project information within office project management software
Displays positive attitude toward office processes/job requirements
Displays positive attitude and works collaboratively with project team members and staff
