The Maintenance Management Group (TMMG) is seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members for our Mobile Kitchen Cleaning Team. This position performs deep cleaning and sanitation services in commercial and industrial kitchens throughout Southeast Michigan.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Midnight/overnight shift
- Travel between assigned locations is required
Service Areas
Applicants must be able to travel throughout a broad geographic area, including:
- Downtown Detroit
- West Bloomfield
- Huron Valley
- Other assigned locations
Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of commercial and industrial kitchen equipment
- Deep-clean grills, ovens, fryers, and other cooking equipment
- Scrub and clean floors, including hard-to-reach areas
- Wash walls and other kitchen surfaces
- Remove grease, food residue, and buildup
- Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Complete all assigned work thoroughly and within the required timeframe
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple locations
- Availability to work overnight beginning at 7p or 8p depending on location
- Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and work around commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a mobile team
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Commercial kitchen, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required
